Northwest Special Education Cooperative is seeking a full-time school social worker for Northwest Academy Therapeutic Day School in Jo Daviess County. The successful candidate will:
–
teach social and communication skills to students with disabilities;
–
provide individual and small group therapy services as per IEPs;
–
provide outreach services to families of students;
–
participate on IEP teams for re- evaluations for special education eligibility;
–
and be a liaison for families regarding information/community resources.
Qualifications:
The qualified individual holds a Master's Degree in social work, with a specialization in school social work, as well as the appropriate Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in School Social Work.
